Create mg355 branch #3767

Update patches and gridpack_generation.sh script according to mg355. Please note there is no mg355 version in cms-project-generators [1] yet, so this commit temporarily uses mg355 in mg5 launchpad [2], which should be updated later.

Patches 0039 and 0042 have been removed because they already applied in mg355.

I created mg355 branch and reset the target branch

@DickyChant i don't see anything obviously problematic right now. we can deploy several tests

  1. p p > h [noborn=QCD]
  2. p p > e+ e-
  3. p p > e+ e- ; p p > e+ e- j ;
  4. p p > e+ e- [QCD]
  5. p p > e+ e- [QCD] ; p p > e+ e- j [QCD];
  6. p p > t t~ with madspin

anything else that I am missing? I'll just merge this branch myself as it won't hurt anything
