When creating meetings To add a new meeting for a project (not a one-off event), make sure to use the Project Meeting type.
Additionally, remember to add RSVP options on the RSVPs page.
Recomended option: Title: RSVP (Optional)

Open question: Is it possible to disable the announcement emails temporarily? If we need to cancel multiple events in order to replace them (example: the WG Platforms meetings that were scheduled as one-off events), it could create confusion unless the emails can be disabled.
