Exception with localisation #142

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
 1. Install czcech localisation file committed in revision 3c35ffc0f043
 2. Setup czech language in XBMC settings
 3. Go into MythBox
 4. Select show in the future
 5. When click and view planing dialog, select what I want and click on 'Uložit' (Save) button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is schedule new recording. Instead I got this error:
'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xe1' in position 44: ordinal not in range (128)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 MythBox 1.0.0, XBMC 10.00~svn35648, Ubuntu Ubuntu 10.04.1

Please provide any additional information below.
On other plug-ins works localised buttons fine, so I don't know if it is bug in localisation file or MythBox.

pavkamic,

1. Turn on debug logging: MythBox > Settings > Advanced > Enable Debug logging
2. Reproduce error
3. Attach xbmc.log and/or mythbox.log so I can track down the problem

tnx

1) I have debugging on permanently
3) mythbox.log is attached
4) I found that exception is occured only when I select other choices than
"Only Once". When I select "Only Once", exception is not occured
5) When this exception is occured, recording is sheduled on backend, but then
is not possible to open sheduled recording window too.

I believe the issue is fixed in d99280b5a6. Please confirm.

BTW, debug logging really does slow things down significantly. You might want
to turn if off if you're not having any issues.
