Someone asked about being a designer at CfA on Quora, and this was my answer back in late January. I definitely stand by the things I said back then - these are the intangibles I've gotten out of my Code for America experience - specifically as a designer.
It's a fantastic environment to grow, contribute to something meaningful, and launch yourself into whatever you'd like to do next.
