Teleport not working #39

My friend and I both have SOFTEdit and the companion, but the teleport does not work. We're trying to get our Kelvin to safety since he's stranded on an island. My friend is the one hosting, so he's the one attempting this. Here's how we're going about it:

SOFTEdit v0.12.9 is running The 1.0.2 version of companion is installed via Vortex (redloader version) and installed to correct location Game launched, companion shows up in mod list Connected companion with SOFTEdit, connection successful File > Open Savegame > selected most recent save Then went to followers tab and clicked the "move to player" option under Kelvin Nothing happens

Is this the correct way to use this program? The interactive map shows our location as we move around the map, so that much seems to be working. But I did notice that, in the in-game mod menu, at the very bottom, it shows a list of files from the companion that are "missing manfest.json". I don't remember the names of those files, but I can get them in you need them. I checked the companion mod in Vortex's staging folder and the game's mod folder, and both have the manifest.json file where it should be.

So, are we doing it wrong? Or is something going wrong with the apps?

Hi, thanks for submitting the report. I just tested it and it does indeed not work anymore and I have to analyze why it happens.

For your issue, there is another possiblity - you can move Kelvin offline via traditional Savegame Editing. Your friend (who hosts the game) only has to open the savegame and can move Kelvin there to the player or Virginia. Afterwards, he just has to save and all should be fine again.

Thanks for the quick response. And thanks for looking into it. I had suggested using the save editor method to my friend after I wrote that report, and we were planning on it, but with enough smacking and shoving with the repair tool, we got Kelvin to snap out of his stupor and follow us off the island. That being said, while we got these apps for that specific problem, I'm very impressed with their capabilities and would like to keep using them, so I hope you're able to solve this issue without too much hassle. Good luck.
