What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. top
2. ps
3. ping 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
command not found..

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
IOS4

Please provide any additional information below.
Please help - did a LOT of googling, but still no answer. On IOS4 where do I 
get the common UNIX commands (top, ps, ping for example). Currently it just 
says, unknown command. There has to be some kind of 
package I need to install for IOS4. If you have an answer, I suggest putting it 
on the Wiki because other people have the same question.

Just for the record, you get command-line utilities through simple searches in 
Cydia, but make sure you are in the Developer or Hacker mode 
(Manage->Settings), so that Cydia does not hide the packages them from you in 
an attempt to help you. In particular:
* ping is in the inetutils package (under Networking in Cydia),
* top is in the top package (under Administration in Cydia),
* ps is in the adv-cmds package (under Administration in Cydia).
