Removed the 'umbrella' entries and fixed all associations between other concepts and those entries.
I made sure to always reference (in the definition) the other pair that formed the umbrella entry. For example, the new definition for utterance predicate reads as "the predicate expressing an utterance event", making sure that the event is being referenced.
Only in two cases the definitions were duplicated:
definite pronoun/article (cxn)
indefinite pronoun/article (cxn)
I will check with Croft to see what's the best way to define these.
