Not picking colors at all #67

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

I intend to use boblightd with XBMC Boblight plugin to connect with Lightpack.
To do so i rewrote ruby script to python (attached both) to communicate with
Lightpack daemon. In result it should pick colours using either boblight-X11,
boblight-constant or plugin mentioned above, then send to Lightpack to light
proper LEDs. Instead of real colors i get only this (using boblight-X11 as
client):

./bin/boblightd -c config/boblight.conf
(InitLog) start of log /storage/.boblight/boblightd.log

0.000000 is the raw data coming from boblightd, setcolor stuff is a command
that's going to be send to lightpack.

Eventually, after a while it'll start picking some random colors, like:

18,36;8-10,18,36;9-10,18,36;10-10,18,36;

It's still nowhere near the real ones. Same thing happend when i try to use
boblight-constant or the plugin.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Not sure which version is it, it's marked as boblightd-467 in XBMC plugin
changelog.txt. Running on OpenELEC 3.0.6 Generic i386 and OpenELEC 3.1.0
Generic X86_64 on Zotac HD-ND22 (Intel U2300 with nVidia ION).

The same config and script runs just fine on regular PC with Arch Linux and
also nVidia ION GPU.

I've found an issues. My fault after all lies in boblight.py. Once
time.sleep(1) (line 47) is removed the script works perfectly. Sorry to bother
you all, please close that issues.

Best regards.
