tesseract not available on any of the anaconda repo .... #11606

What happened?

I am using conda.yaml file to manage my dependencies . When I am trying to install "tesseract" via conda.yaml , i get the below error:


Encountered problems while solving:
  - nothing provides requested tesseract 5.0.1**

I have searched all the anaconda repos and dont find tesseract listed in any of the repos. for instance if you look at the url mentioned below , there is no tesseract entry:

Tesseract is indeed available on conda-forge, Windows included. Also, you are using micromamba, not conda.

Your log includes these lines:

In other words, micromamba could not obtain the channel information for conda-forge on Windows. That looks like a temporary network issue. If it persists, it might be due to your connection configuration (proxies, firewall, etc).

I am closing since there's little we can do here from the conda side.

Thanks a lot , as you pointed out it was indeed a firewall issue. Its fixed now.
