As passionate supporters of the open-source community, we’re excited to invite you to contribute to Configu during Hacktoberfest 2024! This is a fantastic opportunity to dive into open-source, make valuable contributions, and celebrate with fellow developers.

To help you get started, we’ve curated a list of issues that are perfect for contributors at all levels, including both code and non-code tasks like documentation and examples.

By contributing, you’ll also have the chance to earn some awesome exclusive swag!

Rules and Guidelines 📜

This event includes all issues in the Configu repository, covering everything from code to documentation and examples.
Only contributors assigned by Configu’s team to specific issues will be considered valid contributors.
Feel free to open new issues, but they must be approved by a Configu team member to qualify.
Contributions made between October 1, 2024 and October 31, 2024, in any time zone, are eligible.
Participants can receive up to two swag items. Swag stacking is not allowed.
Quantities of swag are limited.
Swag will be shipped within 30-180 days after Hacktoberfest, i.e., post-November 1, 2024.
Inactivity for 3 days on an assigned issue may result in re-assignment to another community member.
Not all contributions will be merged into the codebase. Contributions must follow our contribution guidelines to be considered for merging. However, if your PR is valid, it will receive the hacktoberfest-accepted label to count toward your Hacktoberfest goal.

Just a bit curious, here it's written we will get a tee and a beer glass for 3+ merged PRs, but in the mentioned issue, it's just written 3 to get both of them... Which one is correct?

Hi @gagandeepp, thanks for reaching out! We’re actively working to finalize this year’s Hacktoberfest efforts. As noted in the main post, rewards will be shipped within 30 to 180 days following Hacktoberfest, meaning after November 1, 2024. We’ll provide more details and instructions for claiming your rewards soon. Thanks for your patience and contributions!

I'm happy to update! Next week, we will share a form for each PR that has been merged. You'll need to fill it out, and then you'll receive an email with all the details and a link to our store. There, you'll be able to order the Hacktoberfest limited edition swag for free (including global shipping).
