Fix for Event details apis (anything that needs groups to be loaded) #91

Resolves #90 - not sure where you were going with the groups modification, but its incomplete. I've commented the incomplete part out.

I think the issue was caused during a merge of a recent PR.

Are we not simply missing two closing )s? I don't really want to remove the validation that the name has to be non-empty...

yup - fixed
