You will find that those conmon processes include the command-line option --exit-delay 300
. You will also find that they vanish after five minutes. It's something to do with having to linger around for cleanup, I think....

I noticed that when I am using a podman endpoint (through
--url
), then I execute a command against a running container,podman --url <url> exec ...
two conmon processes are left and exit afterexit_command_delay
has been elapsed.If
