Maybe COLUMNS SETTINGS should be displayed in Advanced Mode because, if the Horizontal Layout (HL) is opened you can not drag components that are below (dragging does not scroll up. You can drop components when HL is closed).
When you drag and drop a Text Input in a HL, it is not moved but duplicated, is it the expected behaviour?
Having an HL means we will have a Vertical Layout?
