I wish to be able to extend more permissions to gnuroot, so that (for example) I can query my contacts, SMSes etc.
I'd imagine, I'll have to check out gnuroot from github, modify the permissions, create an apk file and install it again etc.
Descriptions of android IDEs on the web look scary to me as I am predominently a command line user.
I'd appreciate any pointers that will help me just do the minimal steps (check out, modify xml, create apk) first.
