Update dialog window. #114

Hello, I have installed Moonplayer using the DebianOpt repo and apt. The player works great except that every time I start it or open a video file I get a prompt that an update is available (see the screenshot) screenshot I don't have an update in Synaptic and the version I have installed is 3.7 which is obviously not the last one but the only one available in the repo. I have looked in the player's settings for an option to turn off the update check so that popup will stop showing every time I start the application but there is no such option. I have looked for any documentation regarding a config file which I could edit but couldn't find any too. Is there any way I could stop that popup showing every time I open a video file and if there isn`t could you add such option in the settings?

I think you are using Debian 10? Repos for Debian 10 is not maintained anymore. You can upgrade the system to Debian 11.

If you are already using Debian 11 and it does not work, you can download it manually: https://dl.cloudsmith.io/public/debianopt/debianopt/deb/debian/pool/bullseye/main/m/mo/moonplayer_3.8-1~opt11_amd64.deb
