This is a WIP trying to fix bugs of one user whose sync doesn't work : adding some logs and preventing some server crashes.

Should we merge it? Or are you still working on it?

Let's merge it. It fixes a server crash for this user, so it's not useless, even if another problem still prevent sync. Once merged and published, we need to update the dependency in Sync /cc @aenario
