FTT-Freight turnover rate inconsistency #92

In the master file, the turnover rate for FTT-Fr is given as 10 years for all technologies. However, in the region CSV files, this number is 1.75. This is quite a big difference and impacts the dynamics of the model quite a lot.

Given the turnover rate in FTT-Tr is 4 years and I would imagine freight to be more than this, I'm going to use the 10 year value for now.

Which of these is the correct value?

Thanks for the question. Are you sure this is a turnover rate number? If the turnover rate is 1.75, this must be an error. In general, freight turnover rate is closed to cars because the mechanical lifetime of a truck is around 10-20 years.

Thanks Aileen, good to know that is an error. Do you think 10 years is too high then? Should we change this number to be the same as for cars?
