Chrome extension #10

Just found out about Crossbear and it looks awesome! Any interest in developing a Chrome extension?

Chrome - we'd love to. The problem with Chrome is that we do not have a developer who knows it well enough. Also, from what Moxie has reported for Convergence, there is quite some difference between what the two browsers let you access from JS, so it is hard to assess the effort that would have to go into it. I assume much of the logic can be kept, but access to the certificate chains would be different, and the GUI would have to be reworked, too.

Manpower is currently our most pressing problem, and the integration into OONI (ooni.nu) has priority for the next few months. We're thinking of offering this as student work - so maybe one of our students wants to do it.
