The “Sandbox” space makes available a number of resources that utilize and explore the data underlying "Secrets of Craft and Nature in Renaissance France. A Digital Critical Edition and English Translation of BnF Ms. Fr. 640" created by the Making and Knowing Project at Columbia University.
From Terry: Just came across a tool for publishing "visual" essays online which seems to have been developed by JSTOR. It takes a minimal-ish approach, although I have some reservations about some of the components in the stack. Would be interesting to try it out in the Sandbox. Maybe with a semester of student essays (e.g., this past summer), or some subset of other annotations?
