iscroll scrollbar fire's scroll event but does not seem to update the directionY/X #1140

iScroll v5.2.0 with iscroll-probe.js

Clicking and dragging a custom scrollbar fires the scroll event but doesn't seem to update the directionY. If, with my mouse wheel I scroll down, the last direction is -1. If I then scroll up with the scrollbar, the last direction is still -1.
