10 months ago Turns out the latest version of Tormented Souls dumped mono for another system so the mod will not work.
Using download_depot to download an older version from Steam also comes with issues. Attempts to download an older beta version result in steam just downloading the latest version. Even older, manifest "1788884334272258135" results in the harmony error "AccessTools.DeclaredMethod: Could not find method for type ViewOptionsMenu and name Start and parameters ".
Unclear what version this mod is supposed to work with and why the Tormented Souls devs did this.
This repo builds with a few warnings, no errors.
If you open up doorstop_config.ini and set redirectOutputLog to true, you will see that the output log is correctly redirected. However, nothing about doorstop or BepInEx is logged and I can't tell if the plugin is loaded at all. The game opens in flat mode and plays in third person. It is not detected as vr game. Using a quest 3. The oculus controllers can be used as a cursor but actions like examining the letter in the first minute of the game do not work.
I tried running the example dll that comes with the BepInEx release and oddly the demo does not produce any file or log entry.
It seems like nothing loads using BepInEx
