~~Unless I'm missing something, the default value of False is still not showing up for me, it's the same as it was in 8.0a2~~

I did make clean html for cylc-sphinx-extensions followed by cylc-doc

Update: for some reason my cylc-sphinx-extensions clone had lost its pip "editable" status that comes with pip install -e, so the changes weren't coming through. Anyway, tested and it works now:
