IMAP/POP cyrus services allows a user to login as username%domain.tld and in order to easely route mail trought postfix'es virtualalias*, I'm trying to make use of the percent hack, ie: username@domain.tld -(alias maps)-> username%domain.tld@cyrus_mailstore_backend

With this setup postfix tries to deliver it and it does just that correctly, but the cyrus lmtp verify_user function says that the mailbox does not exist. Of course the username%domain.tld mailbox does not exist, the username@domain.tld does.

Could this be possible?

I'd commit aptch myself but unfotunatly I know nothing about C.
