Action Plan: Moving the Project Forward

  1. Create a Wireframe

    • Decide which application we are using and choose a tool for wireframing.
    • Collaboratively create a wireframe that outlines the basic structure and layout of our project.
  2. Define Minimum Requirements

    • Identify the minimum system requirements for users to interact with our website. This may include supported browsers, devices, or software.
  3. Project Scope

    • Clearly define what we are building. Outline the core features and functionalities of our project. This will serve as our project scope document.
  4. Responsibility Assignment

    • Divide responsibilities among the team members:
      • Two team members will work on client layout and style (UI/UX).
      • Two team members will focus on functionality, including page behavior and data handling.
    • Ensure that these roles are clear and well-understood.
  5. Daily Stand-Up Meetings

    • Conduct daily stand-up meetings, each lasting 15 to 30 minutes.
    • Stay on topic and focus on deliverables.
    • In the stand-up, each team member should communicate:
      • What they have accomplished.
      • What they intend to do today.
      • Any help or resources they need from the team.
    • This helps to maintain alignment and track progress.
  6. Parallel Development

    • Stress the importance of parallel development. No one should wait for others to finish their tasks.
    • Team members should work on their specific responsibilities simultaneously.
    • Basic components should be implemented as soon as possible due to time constraints.

By following this action plan, we can efficiently progress with the project, maintain clear communication, and ensure that everyone is contributing to their respective roles effectively.

I found an article that mentions https://topflightapps.com/ideas/how-to-build-a-calorie-counter-app-actionable-guide/

Nutrition databases Sports and Fitness Databases. Also has a list of established fitness/calorie counter apps we could review.
