It may help if we can look at your specific instance with you. We are aware of and are working on fixes for child tasks, but inn your case that does not seen to be your indicated issue.

Dakboard will not sort my Todoist list correctly by due date. I have tasks that have times assigned as well as dates, and Dakboard does not use this in it's 'sort by due date' function. All things that are due "today" seem to be grouped together, but in a random order. I tried adjusting the sorting on todoist and selecting "automatic" on settings in the dakboard block, but then it has 'today' and 'tomorrow' tasks completely mixed together despite todoist being sorted correctly by due date. Ideally the tasks would either accurately mirror my todoist list, or when set to sort by due date, they would also be time dependent.
