You need to install using the Administrator account and not an account with
administrator privileges.

I am doing the installation with the administrator account
Using terminal server connection as console (mstsc -console)
But i still get this above error and these:
Faulting application SitemapService.exe, version 1.0.0.0, faulting module

Generator\Admin Console.url. Verify that you have access to that directory.

Hi, I installed the Google Sitemap generator in IIS7 and the websites start
crashing and showing error in the browser "service not available" so I
uninstalled the sitemap generator and everything is back to normal.

I am having the same problem as rogomez@gmail.com
server 2008 R2 running IIS 7. When the package is installed, all sites give a
503 "service not available" for all sites on the server.

I had the same problem and was unable to uninstall it. I had to manually remove
all the files and registry entries. Then I had to edit my IIS appconfig to
remove the lines the installer had inserted. I think this program is
incompatible with a 64bit processor.
