Request: dandiset-level table #1984

We just had a meeting with Talia Lerner about their new Dandiset here: https://dandiarchive.org/dandiset/000971/draft

In the current file navigation setup, all of the metadata is present in the files, but the different experiment conditions are a bit opaque just by navigating through the files. They have an excel file that provides a summary of all the sessions, which would be nice as a supplement, but it's not clear how this would be incorporated with the NWB data. They thought without this summary file it might be difficult for a user to understand the what data they would want to look at.

Is there a way to upload this type of summary excel file? Alternatively, is there a way to provide a better summary of what type of data is in each of the nwb files?

Hi @bendichter, yes, they can upload a BIDS sessions file as a tsv file format.

This would be at the subject level. Does it need to be at the Dandiset level?

would be great to see that file (e.g. in .tsv form) and decide. That dandiset is in "classical DANDI layout" and not BIDS yet anyways.
