AGTL support for N900 discontinued? #154

I have been using AGTL for the N900 for several years now, up until the OSM tiles at firefishy.com were no longer supported. I contacted Daniel Fett some 3 months ago for direction and am still waiting. I beleive most peeps have moved on from the N900 and that could be why the sofware is no longer supported, updated or working. The maps show jsut QR codes at a constant 275Km high, although the compass is still working. Is it time to move on from this once excellent App or is there a solution to the bug?

Have you tried the version in extras-devel?!

Could you be a bit more precise..What is an extras-devel?

Seaching.........searching.......not in the first 15 download pages.........searching still......

You first have to setup the extras-devel repository on your N900 (see link). Then you can update AGTL to version 0.9.1.2 using the usual software manager.

Hallo Herr Fett, Long time no hear. I have just recieved instructions from the Webhamster at Advanced Caching (could that be you?) And it seems to be working, if I could only convince the GPS that I am not in a field near Webstadt i will be ricking again.

Thank very much for the help and the working App. All is now running and waiting to be tested. I have tried other Apps on other phones but nothing beats this. Thanks a million
