Please stop danplot from writing console commands on the screen which overwrite the GUI with text #13

Understood. I think you can remove the verbosity with -s (silent).

Or otherwise redirect stdout with > mylog.log

Ideally there should be pop up dialogue boxes for user interaction.

Note for me I have 2 separate windows so no overlap.
