For custom SPSes in DIGSI 5 IEC 61850 Configurator if you add one you don't have the option to remove the time ExtRef.

We provide a filter to allow filtering out of this basic type since it is not (currently) common to map this for GOOSE or SV.

So the rationale for this is:

Siemens IEC 61850 Configurator puts "t" in whether you want it or not for some elements.
One way of doing subscriptions is to only show unconfigured items.
As items become configured, the "t" items become "left behind" and make it harder to see the items the user is interested in.

It's not hard to implement so I'll have a go.
