color calibration - Chroma slider color not updating when % is 0 #17211

Open michmill1970 opened 2 months ago

michmill1970 commented 2 months ago

Describe the bug

In the color calibration module, the color of the chroma slider is always red when adjusting the hue if the percentage of the chroma slider is 0. I use the color of the chroma slider to fine-tune the tint to get the desired result.

Darktable Version: 4.8.0, 4.8.1 OS: MacOS 14.5 (23F79) Install from .dmg

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to the color calibration module
  2. Set the illuminant to custom (the setting of the adaptation does not matter)
  3. Set the chroma slider to 0
  4. change the hue. The color of the chroma slider will not change

Expected behavior

In the color calibration module when the illuminant is set to custom and the hue is changed, the color of the chroma slider should change regardless of the percentage of the chroma slider.
