I cannot reproduce the bug and do not have enough info to debug further.
When you play a track, is a new kml file created at
/storage/sdcard0/MyTracks/kml/tmp directory ?

Hello Jimmy,
Sure, it creates the kml file in the tmp directory. I' ve tried with a vast
amount of different tracks.
Is there anything else I can provide?, loosing this feature would be a
shame.

Can you try the following
Settings->Apps->Earth->Force stop
Play a track from My Tracks
Let me know if the above works or not. Thanks.

Can you do a few things for us:
1. Capture the system log when playing a track. We would like to see the line
regard "Notification intent". It should contain a path pointing to the kml file
on the SD card.
http://code.google.com/p/mytracks/wiki/HowToReportErrors
2. Make sure the path is correct. Matching the path seen in a file manager.
3. Can you share the track as a kml file with us. We can see if we can load the
kml file and play in Google Earth.
Save as kml, share using gmail.

Hello,
I' m having the same bug that many people reported regarding the clipboard.
I' m unable to copy and paste. I think that it may be a relation between
this and what is happenning with my tracks.
I will let you know.

The "Not Found" problem is when non english characters or some special
characters are used (like []). This problem is for versions 7.0.0.7386 and
7.0.1.8239 of Google Earth.
In version 7.0.1.8239 of Google Earth (if I am correct it's a bug for any newer
version after 7.0.0.7386), playback does not work more than one times. For
playing another track you have to force close the Google Earth (there is not
"exit" in Google Earth).

For the first problem? Do you mean non english character or special characters
in the track name? Can you give us an example?
Thanks

For the first problem I mean both of them.
For example:
Special characters: [Track1]
Non English characters: Διαδρομή1

I have deleted all spanish special characters and now it works.
Thanks for your persistence.

In version 7.0.2.8403 (12/12) the problem that Google Earth needs to force
close for playing 2nd track is fixed.
For the "Not found" is included "," also.

Is it planned to support German umlauts in the trackname?
