textroom-uninstall failure

What steps will reproduce the problem?
The following as root:
bash-4.1# textroom-uninstall

What is the expected output? 

Not sure - never uninstalled before.

What do you see instead?

/usr/bin/textroom-uninstall: line 4: xdg-icon-resource: command not found
/usr/bin/textroom-uninstall: line 5: xdg-mime: command not found

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
textroom 6.3 with kde 3.5 on a kind of custom linux based on slackware.

Please provide any additional information below.
I have hunspell-1.2.9 and mythes-1.2.0 installed.

Textroom 6.3 installed fine and works ok so far (not heavily used).
only other issues are text looks misplaced in help screen and every
spellcheck shows all words as underlined red.
wanted to uninstall 6.3 to install 6.3.1

When trying to install 6.3.1 after failed uninstall as above I get:

perhaps I should add that after manually  creating the dir:
/usr/share/myspell/dicts/

and then running the 6.3.1 installer again.
then the tr.aff and tr.dic go there but the... 

/tmp/selfextract.4vYHqm/install: line 37: xdg-icon-resource: command not found
/tmp/selfextract.4vYHqm/install: line 38: xdg-mime: command not found
/tmp/selfextract.4vYHqm/install: line 39: xdg-mime: command not found

...errors remain

Also (sorry) I have put the british dicts in the /usr/share/myspell/dicts/ dir 
and
renamed them as en_US and now spelling works fine.

OK, my bad... my xdg utils had a problem. this issue fixed now.
I will get sleep before posting issues again.
