Hi! I am John and I'm an ecologist. I had thought about doing a survey like this one before and am glad to help and hope to learn more as well!

Previous commentors have already wrote about some of the issues I also would have raised. One thing I noticed on page 6, was that one of the rows in the second question reads, "Lower Open Access fees in high impact factor journals". I would suggest changing "high impact factor" to something in the line of "highly sought-after" or "prestigious", as not all researchers (but probably close to 90% does) will consider impact factor to be the decisive factor in where to submit manuscripts. Also, I think "research settings" for the number of years in research is clear but since others have commented on it as well, perhaps it could be improved by adding in parentheses something like, "(including PhD research)".

Thank you for your comments @jhk11! You are right, Impact factor is not a good metric but is the number one metric in academia at the moment. We will consider it changing it to prestigious but I think that the two are synonyms at the moment.
