Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.clicking on wps attack i receive the message that the network does not
support wps or is disabled and i know for sure that it is enabled.

2.Also, when starting Fern i get several d-bus warnings: (process:12750):
GConf-WARNING **: Client failed to connect to the D-BUS daemon:
Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did
not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply
timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Reported above.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux Mint 14 cinnamon x64.

Please provide any additional information below.
I searched around for those erros and didn't manage to find any solution,
hopefully someone would enlighten me here. I have medium linux knowledge.

So i managed to figure out de bus warnig by adding dbus-launch before de run
command: $dbus-launch python /opt/..../execute.py, but still can't do anything
about the wps problems :\

ok.. for the WPS, try this:

apt-get install libsqlite3-dev
mkdir /etc/reaver
wash -i mon0

The wash did work and never have before. I've also been using reaver(solo) and
got some errors aswell. Gonna try both now. Thanks in advance, i'll be back
here to post results.

So i did try Fern, and it got stuck at 0.00%, i wonder if it isn't something
about the router protection.
And i know it is not an issue of your program, but when testing reaver i also
got stuck at 12345670 and getting 0x02 errors in all the wps routers i tried.

The problem is probably with reaver or the protections from the access points
as you suggested
