Let the application run above 60hz #21

The app causes framerate issues on multi monitor setup due to it being locked at 60hz. Please allow it to run at high refresh rates.

Hi, I'm not sure if this issue is related to Windows or to UniversalSoundboard specifically. Does this happen with other UWP apps as well?

I've yet to run into this issue for other UWP apps, it seems to be a UniversalSoundboard issue. It being UWP does make it harder for me to work around it though, as I'm running an AMD card and the Nvidia workarounds don't seem to have equivalents. Again, I think the main issue is that the soundboard is locked to 60hz for whatever reason. Unlike the reddit example, my monitors are both 144hz, so there should be no reason it runs at 60hz unless it's internally capped for whatever reason. This behaviour is not present in any other UWP apps I have installed, though I wouldn't be surprised if there were some apps that have the same behaviour.

I should mention, I found an instance where it doesn't affect my framerate, if I have it open but on the settings page, the issue is not present. The moment I exit the settings and go back to the sounds, it is present again.

Thank you, the hint with the Settings page is very interesting. Another question: Is this a new issue or did you always have this problem since you first used the app?

Sorry for the late reply, I had a rough midterms week haha

No, this has always been an issue, I've just kinda lived with it until I got annoyed enough by the issue now. This isn't specific to the app per se, but sometimes it continues rendering even when it's not in focus, and as a result I end up going on a wild goose chase trying to figure out why my framerate is wonky just to have to focus and minimise the soundboard again. Again, just an extension of the locked 60hz.
