Since CC-By-SA 3.0 is usually targeting creative artwork such as textures, sounds, models, it may be interesting to pick one of Github license templates and specify one of them to apply to source code.
Some suggestions:
GPL 2
Apache 2
MIT
My two cents about them: MIT is used by Minetest itself, and more "liberal". Apache has been in use by corporations usually, like Google. GPL is among the most used, and the Linux kernel for instance uses it. I believe that GPL is more closer to CC-BY-SA, but I'm not sure.
