Site flickers when hovering #1

For some reason when I hover over the text that causes the lines to show, the whole site flickers. I am experiencing this on Safari on a Mac. When I view other sites that use this widget this doesn't happen. So, I don't know what causes it. Can it be checked out?

Hey @tarsierspectral - What exactly happens when the page flickers? Does it flash white, something else? Also - does the same thing happen for you on this site:

Hi @davidmcclure, yes it flashes white and it does not happen on http://neatline.dclure.org/neatline/show/gettysburg-address
