(Issue imported from Trac - njcastine@yahoo.com)
Under KDE 4.0 when I run evolution or nautilus most of the icons are not
found. This problem may also still affect KDE 3.x (I observed it a while
back).
I was able to find a quick solution at: http://www.linuxquestions.org/
questions/fedora-35/evolution-icons-missing-in-kde-519686/
SOLUTION (for KDE 4.0): $ echo gtk-icon-theme-name=\"gnome\" >>
~/.gtkrc-2.0-kde4
You could (1) update your code to append 'gtk-icon-theme-name="gnome"' to
all automatically generated ".gtkrc-2.0-kde4" files. But a more thorough
solution would be to (2) add a "GTK Icons" selection to your settings GUI.
For most people the former would be a big help, at least until you have
time to add the settings enhancement.
