Maybe we need a sub-page for the 2016 NYC Gaia Sprint content, and a new slate for the 2017 HD Gaia Sprint

I disagree -- I don't think we should be in the business of changing tenses after events. It'll be clear it was in the past since it's now under the heading "Past Events"
