add another parameter to blas to fit MKL; adjust formulae

apart from those segfaults (likely related to blas/lapack), everything compiles now on OS-X + MKL.

@jppelteret that's ready for review / testing. For me it worked on OS-X+MKL / Ubuntu + MKL.
