Currently, strand-based hair is not fully supported via the DazToBlender bridge. However, you can use this work-around to convert strand-based hair into mesh hair. WARNING: this will require a significant amount of CPU power and RAM.
Select the hair asset in the Daz Studio scene.
In the Parameters tab, look for "Preview HR Hairs" and enable it.
In the same tab, look for "Viewport Line Tessellation Sides" and set it to at least 2. (WARNING: setting to values greater than 2 may result in exponentially greater amounts of CPU time and RAM needed)
Use Send To -> Daz To Blender as usual.
Note, you must use a recent version of DazToBlender (Hotfix 207 or higher) to fix an issue where some strand-based hair assets are unrigged:
