I checked the New Export option when export to UE
I found Transfer Genesis 9 Animation to UE 5.1 is ok, while the G9 character does not wear high heels. So probably heels cause some problem?
High heels indeed do cause the issue. I found a fix for this issue, make sure you save a copy of your scene file before in case it doesn't work: First you "just unparent!" the shoes. Then go tools->Joint Editor->Right click anywhere in the viewport then go edit->Bake Joint rotations->Then reparent them again just drag and drop them on your main figure->Select your main figure again then go Edit->Figure->Bake to transforms->Just click Accept->Now when the main figure is still selected and you didn't leave the joint editor then just right click again->Edit->Bake Joint Rotations and you are done, at least that works for me. Now the default rest pose is the high heeled one. Now try the Daz to Unreal bridge.
Hi TarouMaso: Thanks for your sharing, but it does not work for me. Legs of the animation in Daz3D in later frames are even twisted.
I was using old packages before. Daz 4.21 + DazToUnreal bridge (2022/9/9) + UE 5.0: Mesh & Retargeter is fine, Animation has problems Daz 4.21 + DazToUnreal bridge (2022/9/9) + UE 5.1: Mesh & Animation is fine, Retargeter not tested
DazToUnreal-5.4.0.304, Daz Studio 4.22, Genesis 8.1, UE 5.1, Third-Person Template Project
Animation of Upper body is fine, but feet are deformed or wrongly posed, perhaps because my character wear high heels?
Transfer Model (Skeleton Mesh) into UE is fine.
