On the song wheel, the filter functionality is lacking the ability to sort by step artist. If I wanted to play charts by, say, D. Vogan, I may not be able to easily locate his charts that are exclusively placed in tournament packs.

Consensual has this, but I would need to check if this is possible only because the theme uses an entirely different version of ScreenSelectMusic

The engine's MusicWheel, which Simply Love SM5 uses, does not currently support sorting by stepartist. Supported sorts are listed here: https://github.com/stepmania/stepmania/blob/aba0f1f7b3eb3073b06967692b982f899aa21b10/src/GameConstantsAndTypes.h#L152-L189

Options include patching the SM5 engine or creating a custom ScreenSelectMusic using a completely Lua-driven MusicWheel.

Also late but something I just thought of
Sort by easy/med/hard/challenge is kind of confusing
Would be better if you could just open up the 7 folder and it'd show all 7s
Regardless of beginner/easy/med
