problem downloading deadsnakes #261

Im trying to generate a virtual enviroment with python3.8 on a virtual machine that uses Kali, I found through the internet that deadsnakes may help with it, but I can't download it, I keep getting this error:

deadsnakes only supports Ubuntu LTS releases
