To initially expand past the 100 building limit, a battle standard requires 1,000 metal and leather. With the recent introduction to storage limits for these resources, this upgrade requires 20 tanneries and 20 smithies, or 40% of total building space just to afford this upgrade. This leaves only 60 building slots for other things, which will amost certainly lead to massive overcrowding before a battle standard can be formed. Whether this is intended or not, it makes almost every run guaranteed to have serious overcrowding in the early game.
Perhaps a reduction to 500 of leather and metal for the battle standard would be more realistic, as a medieval hamlet shouldn't need 40 smithies and tanneries to start waging war on tribal neighbors. Thanks for considering!
