I really don't know Python that well, so forgive me. My question is, what is the "MySQL example - IL campaign contributions" example about? Is it about record linkage or deduplication? The introduction reads "Takes a database of IL campaign contribution data, loads it in to a MySQL database, and identifies the unique donors." What exactly is that?

What exactly does "unique" here mean? Which of the SQL samples is for deduplication and which is for record linkage?

Ok I was being impatient, and the thought of having the study the code (I'm new in Python) scared the living daylights out of me. But now I have decided to read the documentation end-to-end severally and learn the library properly.
