I saw the announcement here:

What I don't understand however is:

On lubiki.org:

KeeperFX r1816 patch, dated 2015.05.04 22:10:01

On code.google.com:
r1816  Today (34 minutes ago) (2015.05.05 00:01)

How can the nightly build be available for download before the code has been 
checked in?

It's time zones issue. Google Code probably computes the hour in your local 
time, and my scripts for nightly builds are just taking server time (not sure 
if GMT or local time) and storing it without further modifications.
