Even though OSS projects have mailing websites and mailing lists, sometimes
mentors in one org are still shy about contacting mentors in another org.
E.g., maybe they are literally shy, or maybe they just don't think that
sending an email to a dev list is likely to result in success. But, they
would be more confident in trying to arrange inter-org collaborations when
they have had a personal contact with someone in the other org. That
happens at our mentor summit at the end of the summer, but we could
encourage collaboration by the following:
1. have each mentor submit a short bio and photo and statement of
their role and responsbilities in the org
2. produce a "mentor directory" with that info
3. share that directory with all the other mentors at the start of the year
4. encourage all mentors to publically post their bio & photo along
with those of other members on their project website
