My mailing list subscription is still pending

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log in to my GMail account (ross.gardler@gmail.com)

2. Visit the mentors list
http://groups.google.com/group/google-summer-of-code-mentors-list

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to be able to read the mentor list, instead I get the message
"Sorry... Your subscription to this group is still pending. "

For reference I am the admin for the ASF.
